Withdrawal declined: fill in the memo

Hello 👋

Some platforms require a Memo (MEMO) to withdraw or deposit cryptocurrencies (such as AKT or XRP). This memo – often made up of a string of random numbers and letters – is used to identify the recipient account.

If you try to withdraw a cryptocurrency from your Meria account and the operation is declined, check the "Memo" field.

There are two possible scenarios:

  1. The destination platform has provided you with a memo, but you did not fill it in correctly. In this case, you should copy it from the platform, then paste it on Meria.

  2. The destination platform has not provided you with a memo. In this case, you should leave this field empty.

⚠️ When a platform gives you a memo to send cryptocurrencies from your Meria account, but there is no Memo field on Meria, do not send these cryptocurrencies, otherwise the funds will be lost, because the receiving platform will not be able to identify them.

Does Meria require a memo for deposits?

When a platform asks you for a memo to send cryptocurrencies to your Meria account, you do not need to enter it, because Meria does not require a Memo.
