Hello 👋

DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging), or recurring purchase, lets you automatically invest a fixed amount at regular intervals. This feature can be useful if you want to average out your entry point in the market and automate your investment strategy.

Tutorial:

Step 1: Log in to your Meria account, go to the "My DCA" page, and click "Schedule recurring purchases":

Step 2: Select the cryptocurrency of your choice then click “Next”:

In this example, we’ll buy bitcoin.

Step 3: Choose the amount, frequency, and purchase date, then click “Complete my order”:

On the left, enter the amount you want to invest.
On the right, enter:
• The name of your DCA;
• How often you want to invest;
• The date on which the purchase will be automatically executed.

Step 4: Choose your payment method.

Select your preferred payment method:

  • EUR balance;

  • Bank card;

  • USDC balance;

Once you’ve chosen your payment method, accept the terms and conditions, then click “Continue”.

Step 5: Find your DCA on your dashboard and adjust it as you like.

🎉 Congratulations, your DCA is now active. You can find it on your dashboard under “DCA”.

Once your DCA is scheduled, you can:
• Pause it;
• Edit it;
• Reactivate it.
You can do this as your investment strategy evolves.
Your recurring purchase history is also available in this interface.

Can I edit or stop a recurring purchase?

Yes, you can generally edit, pause, or delete a recurring purchase from your personal account in the section dedicated to your scheduled transactions. If you can’t find this option, you can contact our support team.

Why wasn’t my recurring purchase executed?

There are several reasons why a recurring purchase may not be executed:

  • Your available balance is insufficient.

  • The payment method used is no longer valid.

  • Additional verification is required for your account.

If the issue persists, please contact Meria Support and provide the scheduled date of the recurring purchase and the asset concerned.

Can I set up a recurring bank transfer to top up my EUR balance?

Yes, you can, provided you follow the euro deposit procedure for each scheduled transfer. 👇

  1. Submit a transfer request in your Dashboard before each scheduled transfer: go to “My wallet”, click “Deposit”, then select “EUR bank transfer”. Without an associated transfer request, your transfer may not be credited automatically.

  2. Enter the reference number displayed in your Dashboard in the reference/message field for your recurring transfer.

  3. Follow the entire procedure described in our article “Depositing euros into your Meria account”: transfer the same amount as stated in the request, send the transfer from a personal bank account in your name (not a joint account), etc.

Note: A recurring transfer will not be credited to your Meria balance automatically. It remains linked to a transfer request that you need to create before each scheduled transfer. If you forget this step, contact us and send us the proof of transfer provided by your bank. We’ll do our best to help. 😊

What is the minimum purchase amount?

The minimum amount for a recurring purchase is the same as for a regular purchase: €25 per cryptocurrency.

You can then choose an amount and frequency that suit your budget (for example, €25 per week or €100 per month), and change them at any time from the “DCA” tab in your Dashboard.

Note: Don’t confuse the minimum purchase amount with the minimum euro deposit amount. If you top up your Meria balance by bank transfer, the transfer request must be for at least €100.

Does DCA guarantee a profit?

No. DCA is an investment method that automates regular purchases, but it does not guarantee performance or profit, nor does it protect you against the risk of losing your capital.
