Hello 👋
To further improve your account security, you can now add a trusted device that you will use to approve certain actions on your Meria account.
Example: I have a smartphone with the Meria app installed on it, and I make a withdrawal request from my computer.
If the “trusted device” feature is enabled, I will receive a notification on my phone to approve the withdrawal.
Here is our tutorial:
💡 First of all, make sure your phone number has been verified on your account.
Step 1: From the device you want to set up, open your app and click the icon at the top right of your screen:
Step 2: Click on “Access and security”:
Step 3: At the bottom of your screen, select “Trusted device”:
Step 4: Click on “Set up”:
Step 5: Enter the code received by SMS and your 2FA code:
🎉 That’s it, your trusted device has been successfully configured.
Encountering an error?
If you have not verified your phone number or enabled a passkey on the device being used, you may see the following error message:
In that case, you will need to choose one of the two options, then try adding the trusted device again.
💡 Only one phone can be linked at a time.
Which actions can be approved from the trusted device?
Enabling or disabling the whitelist;
Changing an IBAN;
Requesting a crypto withdrawal;
Requesting a bank withdrawal.
How can I change my trusted device?
You can unlink your phone at any time from:
The mobile app on the relevant phone, by following the same steps as in the tutorial above
Or from your dashboard on the following page: https://dashboard.meria.com/account/security.
💡 After unlinking, you must wait 24 hours before linking a new phone.
